The idea of electro motor to control valve was introduced in 1996. Since then, ELTORQUE has developed a wide range of high performance actuators. Through a radical idea and intensive efforts, Lyng Motor has been able to develop ELTORQUE- series, the world's finest electric actuator to fulfil demanding requirements.

ELTORQUE is easily installed and has several unique selling points compared to conventional solutions. Compact design and intelligent solution is our keyword to succeed with our ELTORQUE - series. Covering a range of quarter turn valves from DN50 to DN600. QT series cover the majority of quarter turn valves of our core business.

ELTORQUE series of electric actuators distinguish themselves by high torque at low rpm. Parameters like torque, closing time etc can easily be configurated by the user according to valve specification or performance request by operator.

ELTORQUE can replace any generation of conventional solutions. Excellent controlling possibilities, low cost of installation and operation, no need of maintenance make ELTORQUE the future solution.

The first step towards the market was the introduction of a 500Nm valve actuator for quarter turn valves which was introduced in June 1999. The product has proven very well in rough conditions, 40 units in the trawler "Smaragd" was the beginning, and has been at service since 1999 with good results.
